Heading into the Oklahoma game, Texas Tech coach Mike Leach insisted no motivation could be derived from reminding his players of a colossal blowout they suffered last season in Norman.

Once again, the salty pirate was sandbagging.

Turns out the Texas Tech staff played 'Jump Around,' a song Oklahoma broke out the night of last year's romp, any time it figured the Red Raiders needed to a boost during offseason conditioning.

"Nobody really liked that song," said cornerback LaRon Moore. "They would play it and it would remind us of OU."

Not this year.

With Texas Tech comfortably ahead early in the fourth quarter, the public address system blared the House of Pain's hit, and the Red Raiders began dancing in celebration of what would become a 41-13 ...More
