Cody Stone passed for 178 yards and two touchdown passes to Tyson Poots for Southern Utah's first win in 20 games, a 38-10 victory over Adams State on Saturday. Poots had seven receptions for 143 yards for the Thunderbirds (1-1), which had lost 19 straight dating back to September 2006.
