B.J. Daniels rebounded from the worst game of his young career to throw for 304 yards and run for 141 more in South Florida 's 34-22 victory over struggling Louisville on Saturday. Daniels, shut down in a 31-0 loss to Rutgers last week, threw for one touchdown and ran for two others while leading four scoring drives of at least 75 yards. ...More |

USF got the seventh victory it needed for postseason eligibility with its 34-22 victory over Louisville, but coach Jim Leavitt was not particularly happy about the way it came about.
Leading only 17-16 at the half, the Bulls needed a fourth-quarter touchdown by quarterback B.J. Daniels before the win was secure.
"You know, we got a win," Leavitt said in the St. Petersburg Times. "I guess it's always good to win a game. I mean that. I don't mean that in a bad way. I'm thinking about some mistakes we've got to correct and get better."
