The Vandals are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time this season, but no matter what happens in Saturday's regular-season finale against Utah State, the 2009 season will be remembered as a good one for Idaho.
The Vandals (7-4, 4-3 WAC) have locked up their first winning season since 1999 and will finish in fourth place in the WAC, their best finish since joining the conference in 2005.
But Idaho is looking to put an end to a futility streak in the month of November. The Vandals haven't won a game in November since 2004. They are 0-16 since beating Arkansas State on Nov. 6, 2004.
A win over Utah State would end that streak and allow 11 seniors to finish their careers with a home win for the first time. ...More |
