Talk about a sense of urgency.

Florida came into its showdown with LSU aware that a loss would all but wipe away any national title hopes. The Gators responded with an impressive 51-21 win at The Swamp to vault back into the BCS title hunt.

Following the win, the Gators (5-1, 3-1) moved up to No. 5 in the AP (writers) poll and No. 7 in the ESPN/USA Today (coaches) poll.

"We put together a full game," Florida offensive coordinator Dan Mullen said. "Our guys have taken some criticism that we've been herky-jerky and have had some turnovers and made some mistakes. "But our guys on that offensive unit fired up 11 strong, and everybody, every position, clicked and executed."

Tim Tebow jumped around and waved his arms high above his head as he jogged off the field late in the fourth quarter. Florida fans responded with chants of "Tebow, Tebow, Tebow." Tebow vowed to play harder following his last home game, a humbling home loss to Mississippi two weeks ago. The Heisman Trophy winner backed up that promise with his best game of the season Saturday night.

Florida receiver Percy Harvin missed his second consecutive practice Tuesday, but coach Urban Meyer expects the speedster to play Saturday against No. 4 LSU. Harvin sprained his right ankle Saturday at Arkansas and was placed in a protective boot "We hope to get him back (Wednesday)," Meyer said. Harvin leads 11th ranked Gators with 19 catches for 284 yards and three touchdowns.

Tim Tebow plowed forward on fourth-and-1, easily earning his team a new set of downs. His run was a week too late, but Florida was happy to take it. Tebow and the 12th-ranked Gators rebounded from their surprising loss to Mississippi, methodically holding off Arkansas for three quarters Saturday before pulling away for a 38-7 win.

Florida receiver Percy Harvin has watched Saturday's 31-30 loss to Mississippi half a dozen times already. Nothing changes. Not the fumbles. Not the defensive breakdowns. Not the outcome. Not even the Gators' chances of winning the Southeastern Conference. "We all got together and said, 'Hey, let's go. We're still on the right track,"' Harvin said.
