In the final home game for 13 senior teammates, underclassmen stole the spotlight and showed UCF fans a glimpse of a bright future.
Of the seven touchdowns by the Knights (7-4, 5-2 C-USA) in Saturday's 49-0 shutout of Tulane (3-8, 1-6) in Orlando, five were scored by freshmen and sophomores and the other two by junior receiver Kamar Aiken. Sophomore Brynn Harvey rushed for three scores and freshmen Jonathan Davis and Brendan Kelly each had a touchdown.
"This was a day for the seniors. I would like to thank the underclassmen for helping us have a great day," senior defensive tackle Travis Timmons said.
