Ryan Mallett threw for 313 yards and five touchdowns to lead Arkansas over Mississippi State 42-21 on Saturday. Mallett's final touchdown pass was his 28th of the season, a school record. Just when it seems like Arkansas can't play any better, the Razorbacks come up with an even bigger win.

The Razorbacks seem to be peaking at the right time, winning their fourth straight game with a 42-21 victory over Mississippi State.

One of the biggest reasons for this hot streak? Redshirt sophomore quarterback Ryan Mallett, who has played at a much higher level during the streak.

Mallett was 18 of 34 for 313 yards and five touchdowns against the Bulldogs, becoming the first Razorbacks quarterback to throw for 3,000 yards in a season. In his last two games, Mallett has thrown for 10 touchdown passes, giving the offense a major boost.

"It's an honor to reach a milestone like (3,000 yards), but the season isn't over," Mallett said. ...More
