TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP)—Curtis Pulley threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead Florida A&M to a 34-20 win over Norfolk State on Saturday.
Pulley rushed for 185 yards and was 13-for-22 for 173 yards.
Florida A&M (5-2, 3-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) scored on its first five possessions to take a 31-13 halftime lead.
Dennis Brown threw two touchdown passes for Norfolk State (3-4, 2-3).
Pulley started the scoring with a 1-yard pass to Mykel Benson on the first drive. Pulley later scored on a 51-yard run and added a 30-yard touchdown pass to Benson.
Philip Sylvester also scored on a 22-yard touchdown run for the Rattlers.
Brown threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to Chris Bell and a 17-yard touchdown to P.J. Hayden. Josh Alford also scored on a 1-yard run for the Spartans.
