New Hampshire trounces Dartmouth 44-14

DURHAM, N.H. (AP)—Kevin Decker and Chad Kackert scored two touchdowns apiece to lead New Hampshire to a 44-14 blowout over Dartmouth on Saturday.

Decker, who was 9-for-14 passing with 76 yards and one touchdown and an interception, rushed for 56 yards and a score on three carries for the Wildcats (3-0). Chad Kackert added 71 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 12 carries.

Kackert’s second touchdown run—a 15-yarder midway through the opening quarter—broke a 7-7 tie. R.J. Toman pushed the New Hampshire lead to 20-7 on a 7-yard run before Alex Jenny’s 12-yard TD pass to Niles Murphy pulled Dartmouth (0-2) back within six points before halftime.

The Wildcats scored 24 unanswered points in the second half to put the game away, including Decker’s 33-yard rushing score and his 15-yard touchdown pass to J.T. Wright.
