Troy is a good team. They do have a good coach. Their only problem is they have no depth. Thats why they blew it against LSU last season. And Florida the season before, and Florida State the season before that. And LSU again the season before that. That takes it back to 2005. Now All 4 of those games they lost by 14 or less ( I can not be to sure on the Florida game from 07 but I remember they did make a comeback).

Now in 07 they played Florida, who everone knows won the National tile the season before. Last year they played LSU who everyone should remember won the National title the season before. Now that's 2 years in a row the Trojans have played the team who won the National title the season before. I say there is a thing in college football where things happen in either 2's or 3's. This is the 3rd season in a row Troy will play the defending National Champ. Reason why I would bet for Troy to keep it close (if not win it) Florida will be over looking them. Another Troy really has nothing to lose.

Also Florida played Charlton Southern and only scored 63 points.

HOW DO YOU ONLY SCORE 63 WHEN YOUR FAVORED BY 73. And to make it worse they even allowed them to score 3.

Now time for the Gayturd fans to start hating on me for saying this but GO TROY. Congrats to BG for beating a good Troy team.

I think Troy will come back from this loss and do well in the Sun Belt and the rest of this season.

Darn Cutting edge, did a Trojan break your hear??? That's what happens though when players start reading the headlines when they are a long shot in the first place: Hype+Long shot+believing it as a player= just loud hype.

Dave Clawson was my quarterback in high school. Hes a great guy and really smart. He got a raw deal in Knoxville last year. Bowling Green was lucky to get him

I was at the game. Turning point was when BG stopped Troy on 4th down in the red zone right before half. Troy's kicker appeared to be not very good and this gave BG momentum going into the second half.

Troy did have a lot of hype, especially on the defensive side of the ball. I saw Eugene Kinlaw play at Hutchinson CC in Kansas, and he was an absolute monster.

I don't know how many of you all know what has been said about Troy this preseason, but they were hyped up BIG time. Said to be the best Troy team ever. Some even said that if they played Auburn in the first game of the season, they'd beat Auburn. Way to go, Troy. You got Florida next. You may play anyone, anywhere, but it's not as intimidating as it would be if you actually WON the games. You blew it against LSU last year and can't even run the table in the Sun Belt. For so much NFL talent on your team, you sure can't get them to play on the collegiate level.
