Hilltoppers top Warhawks in first half, 12-7
The Hilltoppers have had a rough week, as they had Head Coach David Elson fired after Western Kentucky holds the nation’s longest losing streak. At the half though, the Hilltoppers are leading the Warhawks 12-7.
Neither team found the end zone in the first quarter, but ULM did manage to out gain their opponent by a 129 to 17 margin. The margin was narrowed by half time though, as ULM leads by just 34 yards.
Trey Revell put the Warhawks on the board just 33 seconds into the second quarter with a nine yard TD scramble.
WKU kicker Casey Tinius has connected on a foursome of field goals from 35, 39, 41, and a career tying long of 43 yards out.
