When either is mentioned, it probably means bad news is on the way. Indiana State coach Kevin McKenna knows the feeling.</p> <p>Junior guard Marico Stinson left the team for "personal reasons" and announced his departure on Facebook on his way out the door before it hit the media. His loss less than two weeks before practice is devastating for a young team trying to make progress out of the Valley's depths. Stinson was Indiana State's leading returning scorer after averaging 12.0 points last season. At times, he looked like a star. McKenna needed him to grow into one this season. Now the Sycamores are in a big hole. The 6-foot junior started 25 of 31 games for Indiana State last season and ranked third in scoring at 10.1 points a game. Sycamores coach Kevin McKenna said Wednesday that Marshall is "working very hard" to regain eligibility for the second semester.
