Thanks to one of the most bizarre recruiting sagas in recent years, Cincinnati coach Mick Cronin is confident his team has the talent to make an impact in the Big East this season.
Lance Stephenson was one of the most coveted high school players in the country throughout much of the year, but found himself without a home because of various off-court concerns and questions about his eligibility.
He was a late get for the Bearcats, and when/if he passes through the NCAA Clearinghouse he provides big-time talent to a program that appears to have more of it this year than in the recent past.
