Golden State Warriors guard Raja Bell(notes) was averaging 11.8 points per game and shooting 44 percent from 3-point range before having wrist surgery. He becomes a free agent this summer so the Warriors might be willing to send him packing.
Rumor has it the Boston Celtics are looking for somebody who can shoot from the outside, according to the Boston Globe. Rajon Rondo(notes) still isn't a sure shot from out there and the Los Angeles Lakers were actually letting him take those shots on Sunday without challenging him.
One wonders if the Warriors and Celtics could figure out a way to get the veteran Bell to Boston for the stretch run.

The New Orleans Hornets are singing the blues right about now since the news coming out Louisiana is that Chris Paul(notes) is going to be out for one or two months because he apparently needs arthroscopic surgery for a cartilage tear in his left knee, according to Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski.
Paul will apparently have the surgery today. This could put him out till the final two weeks of the season. The injury reportedly came at the end of the loss to the Chicago Bulls on Friday night when he fell into a photographer. It's the same knee that he had twisted on Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors. It'll be a while before Paul is back jumping rope let alone shooting hoops.
Looks like rookie point guard Darren Collison(notes) is suddenly getting his moment to shine.

The Cleveland Cavaliers just might get a little stronger before the trading deadline hits. The word is that the Cavs are in talks with the Phoenix Suns to trade for Amar'e Stoudemire(notes), according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
Stoudemire can become a free agent this summer and the Suns are apparently trying to get a sense of whether he wants to stay with them or not. If it's not looking good, the Suns will trade him away, though other teams will likely want to know what their chances are of re-signing him this summer as well.
Other teams that have apparently made queries for Stoudemire's services include the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves, according to the Arizona Republic.
