Stephen Jackson(notes) has been saying plenty of stuff about the Golden State Warrirors front office in order to aid his quick removal from the team, either by trade or buyout. Now he's apparently trying to drag his teammates into the mess, according to the Contra Costa Times.
He is apparently upset with his teammates that they didn't "get his back" when he picked up five fouls and one technical in nine minutes. "Nobody reacted but me so the team didn't have a reaction," he said. "It was only me standing up for myself. I don't think anybody else stood up for me. But if the shoe was on the other foot, I would have stood up for somebody on my team."
Brilliant move by Jackson. You can be sure Jackson's teammates aren't comnng close to getting his back from here on out.

He should get his act together before no team even in Kazakhstan wants him.

In return for who? We need big Z. We have the best 1-2 center punch in the NBA. Give that up?

nellie is the problem. he has been a cancer to every team he has coached and the front office is incompetent.
it's obvious that monta ellis, corey maggette are all turned off by nelson.
FIRE NELSON! (and get rid of curry. he sucks)

I dont see how Nelson have to do with this because i think warriors have a decent team since he came although he is very unpredictableness is proably bringing some players down.
06-07 Pulled the "Greatest Upset" in the NBA
07-08 48 wins but did not make the playoffs
08-09 Everybody knows what happened to Monta and warriors were plague with injuries all season.
And about Curry we would see what happens.

and he let kobe get in his head, it's pretty funny that kobe offended jax by calling him 'young fella'- so what does jax do? has another tantrum, like a... uh... hmmm... how you say- ...young fella?

While I agree, not sure why people say Z is done (10-8 is likely even off the bench)......I 'could' see the Cavs moving Z for Jackson.....but ONLY if they are 100% confident that the Warriors would then buyout Z, allowing him to return to the Cavs after 30 days (ala, what McDyess did last year with Detroit after the trade to Denver).
Can you imagine what the the Cavs lineup woul look like if they could pull that off?
starting: Mo, Jackson, Lebron, Varejao, Shaq
backup: Delonte, Parker, Moon, Hickson, Z
That backup 5 is better than 10 teams starting 5 in this league!

...but then, maybe he'll be the reason things really implode to then come back together, well managed and stronger, the sinking ship righted, and we'll remember him with warmth and reverence, as a hero and a savior, and we'll celebrate stephen jackson day- with lots of delicious flaky turnovers, and by shooting guns into the air (and missing), and lots and lots and lots of talking about whose fault it is that we missed, and everyone face scrunching and head shaking and (self) wrist-slapping...
...and then finally there'll be the stephen jackson look-alike contest- which will be practically impossible for anyone to win... it'll all be so much fun!!
now if he'll just go away...

“It depends on what God thinks about you,” Artest said. “That is what Steve(Jackson) always tells me and what I’ve always told him. What does God think about you? Not what [NBA commissioner] David Stern think about you. What does God think about you? Not what does Pepsi-Cola think about you or corporate America or suburban America think about you? Not what the ticketholders think about you. What does God think about you? That’s what matters.”
