Charles Barkley ready to be a GM

“CharlesCharles Barkley has been rattling the cage at TNT for eight years and now he apparently wants to be a general manager for an NBA team, according to the Boston Globe. "I think everybody around me knows it's time for me to take a different challenge," he said.

The Hall of Famer says he's ready to take whatever good opportunity comes up. "Every job is not a good job, but I think if a good job came up, I would take it," he said. "But I am not going to leave TNT for no bad job.''

Guess this means the Round Mound of Rebound has finally given up on the dream he once had of becoming governor of Alabama.

The NBA's answer to Matt Millen, Barkley could only hope to be as successful. Shut-up Charles, offer some insight, and most of all, entertain us. Clowns belong on TV, unless you're Ronald MacDonald, stay out of the board room

Barkley is an idiot, Like so many players they think they can do better. Charles needs to show he's capable of staying away from gambling first. It didn't work out for Jordan why would it work for Barkley? Sitting as an analyst for ESPN is not necessarioly a qualification for being a GM or owner, ask Steve Phillips. Now if a team needs someone to talk trash, he is well suited for that.
