The Bulls kick off their season on October 29 and they may be doing it without Rookie of the Year Derrick Rose(notes), who has been day-to-day with an inflamed tendon behind his right ankle, according to ESPN. But Rose is insisting there is no way he will miss that game even though he also says he is currently only feeling like he's only got 80 percent of himself to give.
"I will be playing for sure," Rose said. "You see a lot of things not playing, but it is killing me not to be out there." But coach Vinny Del Negro said basically the opposite:" It is possible he will not be ready for the opener against San Antonio. I hope he practices [Tuesday] but it is really day to day. I don't want to get him out there and have him sore the next day," Del Negro said.
