Monday to Friday, The Basketball Jones look at the big games and story lines from the night before with a mix of in-depth analysis and irreverent humor. As always, questions and comments are appreciated.
On today's inaugural show, Skeets and Tas reunite to kickoff the NBA season. How did Shaq fare in his transition from cactus to Cav? Has Boston returned to championship form? How many Boyz II Men concerts did Melas attend this summer? All that, plus slowly unfurling banners, awkward high fives and the settling of an old bet. Welcome back, NBA. You coy bastard.

The guy is always being held up for his charity and as such a super role model. Why, really, why do you suppose he is divulging this information now? If he wanted to clear his conscience he should have gone to the tennis federation, or perhaps even the police. Instead, how is his drug use exposed? In EXCERPTS to entice you to pay money for his book. Since he is so candid about how he lied initially, given his obvious less-than-noble motives for leaking this information now, what makes anyone think there is any truth to the current story or anything else in the book?
Same old bottom line: money at the expense of all else.
