'Lekars Nation' has never been stronger!

New Yorc — Today, the NBA announced the launch of its third annual Dyslexic Heritage Month, a program that recognizes the NBA's dyslexic fans and players (Bibby, Graham, Kaman, etc.). Dyslexic Heritage Month will take place in six NBA markets this season (up from eight in 2008-09): Loss Angales, Torontoe, Feeeeeenix, Minnesoda, Houstin and New Yorc.

"The NBA has one of the largest and fastest-growing dyslexic fan bases in U.S. professional sports, and we want to continue building their interest in the game through participation, programming and killer jerseys," said Robert Nordoff, the name of a guy I just made up.

Dyslexic Heritage Month, first launched during the 2003-04 season, will feature celebratory uniforms developed in conjunction with Jay Leno, to display the team name as spoken and written by dumb NBA bloggers suffering with the learning disability. (The Miame Heet, for example. Or the Charlit Bobkats.)

The festivities tip off on Tuesday, Dec 1, when the Loss Angales Lekers host the New Orleanz Hornetz.

Dyslexic jerseys, t-shirts, sweatshirts and headwear will be available at the NBA Store on 5th Avenue, NBAStore.com, and in-arena stores for participating teams.

Cheers, TheNoLookPass.

My moral compas ususally excuses inapproprateness when im too busy laughing, but this post was just lame.
I don't see the point in making fun of dyslexia for a completely pointless attempt at a joke.
Dyslexia can be a serious condition, not everyone can be an award winning journalist... i mean online sports blogger like you.

Dyslexia and illiteracy are not the same. The shirt is dyslexic because letters are switched, the others are just misspelled, again, not the same thing. And not funny.

Calm down ya'll. It was just a joke. To Ruben: These guys are awesome and you are more than free to read another sports page. As for the Jersey, perhaps it was made to support Spanish Heritage Month. 'Lekars' is exactly how the word would be spelled in Spanish, right? Keep 'em coming, Skeets. This was hilarious.

Skeets I hope you get fired cause you're a POS. You consistently post BS and this time it's offensive. Get a real job or do your easy one, right. And lastly, you have your deffinition of dyslexia wrong. How did you become a sports writer when you don't know the correct use of words.
