Sorry, Junior Nation, The Problem With The 88 Is The Driver

If you compare and contrast what has happened with the No. 18 and No. 88 teams, it's clear that the Gibbs crew thought the problem was the crew chief and the Hendrick folks think the problem is the driver. The truth hurts, Junior Nation, but the problem is Dale Earnhardt Jr.

    It's difficult to understand all the hate out there for JR. Who says he's the best driver? I've never heard it, most liked? Yeah, probably, more than his Dad ever was.
    While not the best Driver in Nascar he still ranks in the top of the list, even after this dismal year his stats are still among the best in Nascar, total wins, average finish. He has had some bad luck, I have seen him cause some of it himself but other times it was just wrong place wrong time.
    I am encouraged with the new crew cheif, they have been running with the front runners in most of the races. as usual he would have finished in the top 5 at Dega if it had not finished on a caution.
    But go ahead and hate, say he can't drive, especially those of you that drive from your couch, and next time you get a chance go qualify at Daytona, all you have to do is drive the Petty car. Compare your times with his and then say he can't drive. All the NASCAR drivers are the best drivers in the world, it was proven every year with the IROC races

    It would seem that this auther is going to be paid by the response. Go with a "hate maker" headline to mask the fact that "it" just rolled out of his mans bed just seconds before deadline.     What planet are you living on. Sounds like you're jealous of the 2 time Busch series champion, the Daytona 500 champion, 18 time cup series winner, and a guy who never complains or blames other people. We need more drivers like Dale Jr., not people like you always criticizing his talents in the worlds toughest sport. Hang in there Dale, you've got plenty of time to turn things around.     The only thing he had going for him from the start is he was named Dale Earnhardt Jr.The ladies liked him cause he was young and single. It takes more than that to win and he does't seem to have it!
