Busch On Track For First NASCAR Trifecta

We told you earlier in the week that Kyle Busch was shooting for a trifecta at Texas Motor Speedway, and he checked off the second leg by taking the checkers Saturday in the O'Reilly Challenge.

Busch dominated Saturday's race, leading 179 of the 200 laps. It was his fourth consecutive Nationwide Series win at the 1.5-mile TMS.

If Busch prevails at the Dickies 500 tomorrow, he would be the first driver ever to win races in all three series—Trucks, Nationwide and Cup—on the same weekend. He finished 18th in April's Cup race at Texas.

Busch ranked 28th fastest in the final Cup practice on Saturday with a speed of 181.726 mph. He will start in the fifth position Sunday in the No. 18 M&M's Toyota.
