From the Marbles - NASCAR

Jamie McMurray has been something of a forgotten man this year. After ending 2008 with a flourish, he's struggled, along with all his Roush teammates, to find any kind of groove. Earlier this summer, he was told that his services would no longer be required for next year, making him a free agent. And while there are plenty of potential opportunities out there for him, nothing has materialized as yet.

We spent the conversation discussing what went wrong at Roush and what could go right next year, and also talked about his sponsor for the Charlotte race, Jeremiah Weed sweet tea. (Best name of the year, in my opinion.) Check it out; I think you'll dig the interview.

I do declare... I doubt McMurray will ever truly forgive Tony Raines. McMurray coulda' been a Cup series big shot, if only not for Raines. So for anyone he should dread to hear is comin from the spotter...

Now what kind of leaf is Jeremiah Weed made from?
Loved it when he basically said that Denny and Bradski need to grow up...and then backtracked!

Who cares, he will end up with Earnhardt-Ganassi or nowhere & continue to be an also-ran.

He'll end up at RPM/Yates. Had NASCAR not cut all teams down to 4 cars, he'd be re-signed with Roush and that would be that.

Look for him to get a top 10 in Martinsville. He's trolling for a ride, and likes this track.
