Kyle Busch is looking to win his fourth straight Nationwide race at Texas Motor Speedway. This kid's good, and I bet he'll be making the Chase in the next few years. [Scene Daily]

• Want to attend NASCAR's year-end awards ceremony? There are all kinds of ways to do so ... but you gotta work for 'em. [The Fifth Turn]

• So people are seriously griping about the SPEED broadcasting team wearing Batman costumes on Halloween? Really? Come on. People really will bitch about anything they possibly can when it comes to NASCAR, won't they? [The NASCAR Insiders]

• Think Jimmie Johnson's boring? Yeah. Didn't hear a whole lot of note from the three top finishers of the Talladega race, did you? (They were Jamie McMurray, Kasey Kahne and Joey Logano. But you knew that, right?) [Racin' Today]

Bobby Labonte Racing is working its way from the ground up, and now has a two-driver team in Late Model Dirt Series racing. [Catchfence]

what person in their right mind would protest Krista Voda wearing that incredible Batgirl costume? Okay, I could have done without Adam Alexander as Robin, the Boy Wonder, but still, c'mon, Krista Voda looked smoking hot.

It was during the NCWTS setup show; by the time the race was on, the only thing that remained of the costumes were remnants of Joker mascara, makeup, and hair dye on Michael Waltrip; go figure. It was kinda silly, but they dressed up as Wizard of Oz characters for the Halloween trucks race at Texas last year, and once again, Krista Voda looked smokin in her batgirl getup. Also, after Ray Dunlop dressed as Dorothy last year, and had Hornaday question if his mother approved of him cross-dressing, then walking away to his hauler, at least they kept him and Adam Alexander seated in the Batmobile. Phil Parsons chimed in as the Penguin, and Rick Allen as the Riddler.

MarkN...Leffler?!? Really? I agree who cares about Kyle, but Leffler is like the next generation Bodine. He has wrecked more cars and people than a Blues Brothers movie.

Nascar.com is running an article that looks remarkably inspired by Marblehead Carol's article on women drivers.

Good article on "Racin Today" about Jimmie and his infamous vanilla personality. Seems I've been right all along and he actually DOES have a personality. Wish more people would see that and lighten up on him a bit

I thought that the Speed Setup show was hilarious! They all looked good. After all, it was Halloween. And as far as "sportscasters" not being journalists, maybe Michael Knight needs to check out some of the video of Al Michaels broadcasting the 1989 World Series from San Francisco in the hours after the Loma Prieta earthquake. I'm sure that he was out of his comfort zone, but he did an excellent job giving the facts as he could see them on various news feeds, etc.

Kim i thought it was pretty funny too as was the special edition trackside. Some people just need to loosen up a little bit , with all the pissin and moanin going on about NASCAR these days the people from speed are a breath of fresh air!! And as far as journalist go, I would say taking cheap shots at someones appearance is certainly not MY idea of a journalist!!

GMTA, Huh Nostra? That was a good article at Nascar.com!
Kyle looks like he's trying to flip someone off and forgot which finger to use... And those "journalists" dissing the costumes, well. Some people just aren't happy unless they have something to b!tch about.

Packerd that was Trackside. Hammond almost made a better Sparrow than Johnny Depp, lol! Seriously tho, the article on the other site was about women drivers in the past, and that's about all the resemblance there was. In fact if you go to their Nascar 101 link there are a bunch of stories about women Nascar drivers!
