i think that the Rogers hype ends tonite when Fedor easily submits him....Mousasi in an absolute anihilation over Rokd, and Dana will be workin to get Mousasi into the UFC.....I want "Mayhem" to win and will be rooting for him but Shields would be the safe pick here if you are betting, and as far as Silva and Werdum I say "big deal" I honestly think Strike Force could've found a better main card fight but who am I to judge, should be a great nite of fights and it's FREE...can't get better than that...
on a side note...after Fedor wins, and he will, then who is left for him to fight...outside of the UFC who is out there...Strike Force is hyping Fedor as the best fighter in the world but for there first nationally televised primetime card the best they could get is Rogers, granted he's got a few quality wins most notably the anihilation of Arlovsky, but he has zero drawing power to the "casual" mma fan which CBS and Strike Force are trying to lure in with this card...so after Rogers I ask who is next...Silva or Werdum...are you kidding me? Strike Force has there hands full if Fedor wins because there is no one else off the top of my head that they could match Fedor up against that would have any serious weight in drawing ppv buys in the future, but if Rogers pulls "the biggest upset in mma history" they have plenty of possible guys for him to fight bcus he hasn't fought anyone w a name outside of Arlovsky, but yet Rogers would have no pull for future ppv buys either...I just hope that Strike Force isn't looking for Fedor and there hvywght division to pull them in the future, they better hope they can get Dan Henderson, and then keep Shields, Mousasi, and then pull some talent from somewhere or they will last about as long as Affliction

I dont think its exactly people thinking Sheild will win as much as it is hope that Miller Loses. Miller stand for One thing i hate most about Sports and thats the Show. His Little Show tune Broadway/ Pro Wrestling Entrances and gimmicky attitude represents almost everything that is wrong with Japanese MMA Slash that i Should Say MME, Mixed Martial Entertainment, If he was on ROids then it wouldn't be almost everything it would be everything wrong with Japanese MME. I hope he loses so bad he won't show his face in public or the U.S. for years but i doubt it will be a severe loss for either of those guys i think it will be a good fight that i will miss watching Spike Becuase i refuse to premote Fancy Entrance and pro wrestling style crap in MMA or maybe i will change it back after the get in the cage.

Fedor, Mousassi, Miller, Silva. I think people are forgetting that Mayhem has very good jitz, and I think he's more well rounded than Shields, I realize the safe bet is to go with Shields, but I'm looking for the upset here. The fight I'm really intrigued by is Werdum, Silva, Werdum had good power and subs, but there's something about him I just want to see him get his face pounded on, and I think Bigfoot may just do that.

Esco, everyone is just butt-hurt that Fedor didn't go to the UFC so he could prove himself against a 4-1 fighter, because obviously that's what he has to do in order to actually say he's the best. Even if Fedor were to beat Lesnar, everyone on Dana's sack would be like, "well, he has to beat Cain Velasquez in order for him to be the best"... after Fedor won that, "well, he's good and all but he has to beat Shane Carwin to be the best"....

in order to maintain you re current status you have to keep up with who? the next contender, does SF provide that? Rogers is the full extent of that competitive roster. I think people have gotten over Fedor ...there is by far more exciting competition amongst the heavy weights in the UFC. I watched the SF card today and wow it was really sad. Most of the guys were former ufc contenders. Just stating what i see. I had high hopes to see fedor in ufc as well but its irrelevant and i can only speak for myself i think he isn't as great as many think he is and I'm content with the competitive roster in ufc. If fedor wins who does he face next? I am still just an mma fan. Please don't tell me munson. I am excited to see this fight tomorrow though, because of the hype. i just figured there would be more support for this fight considering the hype...

Fedor rules, but I do give Rogers a big chance on the feet. We haven't seen Rogers on the ground, but I don't think that he stands a chance against Fedor there. We will see tonight. I can't wait for this fight, and the card is the best since UFC 100. UFC trying to counter with the main events from UFC 101, 102, and 103 isn't going to pull people away from this card. DVR the UFC... live fights are always more exciting.

Chad good points. Overall the HW division sucks here, there and everywhere. Who is a legit contender to 4&1 Lesner? The general top 10 HWs are: Fedor, Lesner, Mir, Nog, Velasquez, Couture (?), Dos Santos, Rogers, Arlovski, Carwin. Not an earth shattering group once you remove Fedor/Leasner from the equation! Mir lost to Lesner (dominated) but beat Nog (Close). Nog beat Couture(small HW/pass prime/beaten by LHWs). Dos Santos (8-1) beat Cro Cop (way pass prime) /Wardum, Carwin (11-0) beat Gonzaga (who beat Cro Cop also), and Velasquez (7-0) beat Rothwell (loss to both Cro Cop/Arlovski)/Kongo (no grown game). Sure Carwin/Velasquez are promissing "PROSPECTS" but they are both thrown into the spotlight because there isn't anyone else out there. Overall the UFC HW division is not that much better then what StrikeForce has to offer. Lets get real, the HW division, both in boxing and MMA ,is hurting. This seasons TUF HW division winner shows little promiss in impacting the UFC ranks. Japan has little to offer so outside one or two fights (Lesner/Fedor, Velasquez/Carwin, Nog (healthy)/ Mir #2) there is little to do here. This is parallel to boxing where the lighter weights are stealing the show. Thanks guys
