Shaq defends the honor of Canseco

Shaquille O'Neal is nuts, right? The big man has been training in MMA for a few years. He's featured here talking some trash to a Chuck Liddell cut out and then calls out 7-foot-2 Korean giant Hong Man Choi. It would be an even size matchup for Choi, who recently destroyed former baseball player Jose Canseco. Shaq is an estimated 340 pounds at 7-foot-1.

Don't laugh at the possibility that this could go down in the future. Who thought an NBA legend, who's made $271 million alone in salary, would've tried law enforcement assignments in Phoenix and Miami?

Something tells me that there is going to be a 24 hour Shaq-news channel in the near future.

It would be more interesting than HMC vs Canseco, that's for sure.

Did Shaq's mma training have anything to do with his revamped energy/stamina and numbers this season?
I wouldn't count Shaq totally out of it if he does real sparring. Size strength and cardio is there. Can he strike or do anything else? Who knows. This probably another Shaq joke session.

I love these freak show fights! Shaq and Choi would be so dang fun to watch. I'd like to see Choi win because it would be an insult to MMA if Choi lost. But even if Shaq won, I'd still love to watch it. Gotta admit that I liked Shaq in this vid.

Love shaq..... Love shaq....Love shaq....Oneill needs to do a video singing this B-52's song. You have to love this guy, yes he is silly and people laugh at him or with him.But the point is that he is no different us.He just likes to have a good time, and if that means making a fool of himself so be it.He is genuine....the Real Deal.Props to you, the King of the self promotion, keep making news and keep making us chuckle.

Shaq is retarded, i alway wonder what he would do to make a living if he weren't physically gifted and didn't play baseketball.

It's refreshing that Shaq has nothing better to do than this. I'd like to see LeBron do something completely ridiculous like this without millions in endorsements coming his way.

Shaq wins by TKO (Strikes) in the first.
Then, hopefully, retires. Choi is beatable, especially since he had BRAIN SURGERY TO REMOVE A PITUITARY TUMOR.
Shaq may be a novice, but he isn't totally untrained. The guy has studied martial arts and undertaken basic hand-to-hand combat training. And he's a relatively-lean 340.
Any gamers here remember "Shaq Fu?"

Oh boy. This is going to be really ugly really fast.Hopefully Shaq isn't thinking about going to MMA.It'll be nuts, though he should get credit for defending Canseco cause no one is these days.

Please Mercer knocking out Sylvia proved absolutely nothing and no one freakin cares. That fight doesn't impact MMA or boxing at all. It was a joke. Mercer looked like he was carrying twins and geez, I don't know what Sylvia looked like.

Wow, still no Shaq attack comments??
Come on guys give Shaw a break, he is just playing around being the big dummy he is, if he is going MMA training its probably purely for the cardio that the walking giant deeply needs for his Bball game.
