Cagewriter - UFC

As you may know, we here at Cagewriter love the Fedor sweater. Some would say it's a Cosby sweater -- a COSBY SWEAT-ERRRR -- but I would say it's a work of art. So, is there a Fedor-esque sweater with your name on it?

I couldn't find an exact replica of Fedor Emelianenko's sweater, but there are reasonable facsimiles to the sweater. From left, there is a v-necked Banana Republic sweater, an Eddie Bauer sweater, and a Lacoste sweater, all available on eBay. This way, you can be like Fedor, yet still keep your own personal style. It's truly a win-win.

His sweaters are more pimp than the tacky Afflicted/Affliction apparel. Any thing less, would be uncivilized. If only he had a nice flowing mullet and gold chain that draped across his v-neck. Brian Bosworth would be proud.

Not to be a fashion critic, but Maggie, these sweaters are nowhere near the one Fedor rocks.
His is a striped mid 1980's neon colored sweater, most likely something from Chess King or one of those really ugly Neiman Marcus type sweaters.
The only sweater that remotely shows neon is the Izod, and the base colors aren't even close to Fedor's.
    There's only 1 emperor, so I guess there's truly only 1 sweater.
And Instant, Brian Bosworth?? Nice. Huge score on the nostalgia points.
But just remember, he's STONE COLD!!!

I'm going out on a limb and saying High Fidelity is one of Maggie's Top 5 favorite movies.
Now I'm going to try to name them all:
    1) Ferris Bueller's Day Off
    2) High Fidelity
    3) The Untouchables
    4) Chicago
    5) The Blues Brothers

Maggie, Why do you write more articles on clothing than MMA?
Isn't one sweater article enough? I guess you are making up for the fact you can't slam Affliction anymore.

Wow- I can't understand what this blog post has to do with MMA? It may be good for a snicker, but this is a garbage thread. This weeks threads on sweaters , the lame "create a caption" . I thought there was a big MMA event on Network TV. Maybe a thread discussing this weeks event that deals with the actual fights . I like the funny post every now and then , but I think there may be something a little more substantial to write about. Why not get the transcripts from fighter interviews and delete words so we can play Mad Libs. This blog is quickly becoming a " I don't really know anything about fighting, they just gave me this job and I am learning as I go "

ugh. you couldn't have spent the 15 seconds you wasted writing this blog to actually put something up about the mma event in Chicago on Saturday? Something about the under card, the fact its on CBS. Maybe even something like if this event does well on cbs, does it give leverage to the ufc with their own network negotiations? that one even allows you to write more about your beloved ufc....
i feel like most of the people that post comments could do a better job writing relevant blogs than you (mostly steve).

Good top 5 list Rob R.......Rob...hahahaha....so how is Championship Vinyl and Top 5 Records going? So what was it like bagging Marie De Salle? Did Barry ever make it as a singer? Did Dick ever score with Anna? Did the Kinky Wizards fail at their attempt at music and still plunder your store? Did you and Laura ever get married?
Come one Rob, inquiring minds want to know.
Btw Rob....It's a great list, I think you can bump Chicago from the list and add The Fugitive.
And how on earth can you forget the Breakfast Club or Home Alone?
Personally, how can anyone forget Running Scared as a Chicago movie location classic? Or how about Barbershop or the Negotiator?

And of course to keep this MMA, how about Chuck Norris and Code of Silence. He may not be able to whoop a Brazilian, but he showed those Colombians a thing or 2.

Actually Cofield wrote a blog on Fedor's sweater.
Maggie.....this is all fine and dandy but I'll probably check out some other websites to get REAL MMA news...and I'm talking about MMA....not just Cagewriter's UFC news and joke articles about Strikeforce and their fighters.
You did good on your article about Curran since he is fighting this weekend. And I had hope when Cofield blogged about the 360 show on Showtime. But what else have you and Cofield shared with us about Strikeforce and some of its fighters that is really meaningful? Do you really understand why people complain on here about you guys having a bias? Didn't the Strikeforce presser start TODAY?
And I know there's going to be people that chime in and say "if you hate the authors and the articles that are on this site, why don't you go to another site". It's not that I hate Maggie and Cofield. I enjoy reading some of their blogs. But I would like for them to know that REAL MMA fans care about other organizations and fighters besides the UFC and the fighters in the UFC. Maggie does much, much better than Cofield in giving us info on fighters outside of the UFC but we've got hardly anything about Strikeforce this weekend so, yes...I will have to go to other sites to find out more about MMA and the Strikeforce card that's on this weekend.

Hey Snowfield Job and Haggie Schmendrick. Can you tell us please what you get paid to put together these pathetic articles?. And do the Yahoo excecutives have any idea what your adoring public think of you, and the pet names?. I think I have seen maybe 2 or 3 positive comments about a blog you have put on in the last several months. The rest are ruthlessly brutal. Deservedly so. You have 0 creativity, you both write like to failed 4 grade english. The Yahoo excec's obviously don't read what they are paying you to feed the public. Another perfect example of corporate inertia.
Now, I think we have heard enough about Fedors garments, Rogers walks around Chicago. Write something about fighting please. Stop being stupid!

I guess the Fedor sweater has the Bill Cosby ring to it! I'm sure the Cosby sweater probably cost a lot more than his, in fact what type of material is Fedor's sweater, how much are they selling for? I know the sweaters Bill Cosby wore were Coogi, and those are not cheap, back then they weren't and today they are not, but who still wears them?
