Dana White has to wake up with a smile on his face today. After all, today has to be better than the last two days. Sunday, he was ripped to shreds all day long via Twitter and his email by fans who were unhappy with the outcome of the UFC 104 event. On Monday, while the bombs continued to fly his way, he finds out that the UFC's huge Las Vegas card next month featuring the sports' new big star, Brock Lesnar, had been blown to bits. Lesnar had to pull out when he couldn't beat a bout with the flu.
The Las Vegas Sun spoke with Chris Tuchsherer, Lesnar's training partner in Minnesota, who said Lesnar thought he was on the verge of beating the flu after suffering with it for 25 days:
“He actually practiced (Sunday) and thought he might be feeling alright. He said, ‘Wow, I think I’m doing OK today,’” Tuchscherer said. “(Monday) he got here and it was the same old stuff — fatiguing right away, not being all there."
That's when Lesnar decided to pull the plug:
“After practice we were all sitting around, we were actually going to come back later at night to work out again, and he basically told us, ‘Hey guys, I’m going to pull out of this thing.’”
UFC 106 is now left with Tito Ortiz versus Forrest Griffin as a main event.

Of course anyone can be hit with Man-Flu, just 25 days seems a bit excessive to get over it.
My thoughts? Dana desperately needs a megafight to bolster his Jan 2nd card. Silva vs Belfort might attract the purists, but there's still a lot of casual fans that don't like Silva for his Cote and Leites fights, and both Silva nad Belfort destroyed perennial fan favourites Griffin and Franklin.
Although it's Jan 2nd, it's still essentially the UFC's end of year / New Year show and it needed bolstering significantly, especially since the one in Memphis has gone to s**t with Rampage fleeing to hollywood.
So yeah, I think this illness might be a ruse, just like I believe Mir getting 'injured' beofre UFC 98 benefitted UFC 100 greatly.

It is pretty sad when most of you out there don't buy this flu story for a minute. It is sad, because even though it is most likely true....so much deception and lies go on that make it hard to believe anything.
Does it happen to work out better for the UFC to have this fight on Jan 2? I don't know, won't they then be competing with College football? That doesn't sound smart.
This one I am willing to believe that Brock just got sick, plain and simple. But I would not be surprised to find out something else later...

Funny that you just wrote on that topic as I was going to ask you if that was his problem. Thanks!

Just the same, Clint...getting an IV might work if you need it once, but you don't want to rely on it for weeks at a time.
Hookers: Bonnar and Parisyan both got caught in Nevada. Alves got caught on diuretics in Nevada. I could probably find more...but I lost my list of MMA busts. Joe could probably help out with more busts out of Nevada.

. csac, nsac maybe have more money to implement a more thorough testing program. ??? plus some roids are just plain stupid to take. nandrolone can give you a dirty piss test for up to 16 months. personally, i would use hgh, and test propianate. it is water based and out of your system much quicker than the oil based testosterone. i heard griffin used extenze for his fight with silva. the guy is confused.
