      <description><![CDATA[ <p><p>The Nationals aren't winning in 2008&mdash;they'll concede as much. Which means the next four weeks could prove busy for general manager Jim Bowden as he tries to reconstruct his roster in hopes of an improved product in 2009.</p>
<p>Washington has any number of veteran players who could draw interest on the trade market before the July 31 deadline. Catcher Paul Lo Duca, infielders Cristian Guzman and Felipe Lopez and starters Odalis Perez and Tim Redding are all veteran players who might help a contending club.</p>
<p>Bowden will listen to offers for all of those players and more over the next month, but he's also not considering himself a pure seller as the deadline approaches. The Nationals are willing to acquire young players who might help this team now and in the future.</p>...]]></description>
