The Houston Astros have got a managerial slot to fill and it's looking like it could be a member of the Boston Red Sox coaching staff that ends up filling it, according to the Boston Herald.
Red Sox coaches Tim Bogar and Brad Mills(notes) are both in consideration for the gig and both apparently interviewed for the job yesterday. Mills got his turn in the morning and Bogar went in the afternoon. Bogar is thought to have some slight advantage since he played for the Astros and then managed in for the Astros in the minor leagues.
Other candidates include former Houston manager Phil Garner and former Washington Nationals manager Manny Acta.
Of course, Red Sox coaches are used to being interviewed for head-caching jobs. Last year, Mills and DeMarlo Hale both talked to the Seattle Mariners about its opening, though obviously neither got it.

No need for him hopefully they pursue King Felix thats a more reliable choice even though Roy Oswalt has been around the game longer, Pitchers like King Felix are good investments.

Did you want me to process your trade early instead of waiting in the Football league? Trying to be fair since i processed other managers trade early.
It looks like your deal will go through though.

Ok i will move the players manually for you and Spazz,
As for King Felix i hope so not sure what it would take to actually acuire him but it is worth the chance even if we have to trade some propsects.
The Red Sox need another Ace.
I will move the players for you right now since i have some free time from work

The Red Sox has been a winning organization for a long time, now! Two World Series Championships recently, by the way.
I'm disappointed by 2009, but they did lead the league for over half the season, until the Yankees came alive. Hope they can keep most of their present team in tact for next season.
I don't know much about their coaches. Wish them success!

Brad Mills played with Terry Francona and roomed with him in college. They go way back. He has managed extensively in the minor leagues and coached for a few teams in the Majors.
Brad Mills is most famous for striking out. He was Nolan Ryan's strikeout victim when he passed Walter Johnson's career strikeout record!

A couple of exciting games last night! Hate the Dodgers, but wouldn't mine if they won a couple more.
Looking for the Angels to take Yankees to seven. Would the final game be in LA?

Yeah, both games yesterday were walkoffs. I would like to see Philly top the Dodgers as well. A game 7 in the ALCS would be played at Yankee Stadium.
