LHP Matt Harrison got back on track after two rough starts in which his fastball drifted. Harrison said he made an adjustment to his delivery to keep his head straight and get his sinker back in the zone. Harrison held Baltimore scoreless for the first five innings on just 54 pitches, throwing first-pitch strikes to 13 of the first 16 hitters he faced. Harrison, who allowed three runs in seven innings, had given up 22 hits and 14 runs in his previous two starts, which totaled 8 1/3 innings.

Harrison earned a victory Monday as the Rangers defeated the Orioles, 14-3. He pitched seven innings and allowed three runs, six hits and one walk to go along with three strikeouts.
Recommendation: Harrison broke a two game losing streak Monday, but allowed two more home runs. He has now allowed at least one home run in each of his last four starts and has allowed five total home runs in 37 innings pitched. He allowed only 13 home runs in 185.2 innings pitched last season, so hopefully this is just a bump in the road and he can revert back to last season's form.
