Upton (oblique) was with his teammates at Chase Field on Tuesday, but there's still no timetable for his return to the lineup, the East Valley Tribune reports. Recommendation: This could be due in part to the fact that the D-Backs haven't figured out how to handle their outfield logjam once Upton is ready to return. Manager Bob Melvin suggested the possibility of Adam Dunn taking grounders at first base, so it sounds like they're still trying to work Upton in for everyday at-bats. |

RF Justin Upton's oblique injury is no longer cause for worry, manager Bob Melvin said, and Upton will be called up from a minor league rehab stint once the club feels he is comfortable offensively. Upton went 0-for-4 Wednesday for Class AAA Tucson, leaving him with a .310 average in seven rehab games. |

Steve Gilbert, of MLB.com, reports the Arizona Diamondbacks would like OF Justin Upton (oblique) to have some success on his rehab assignment before activating him from the disabled list. He has gone 6-for-14 in four games with Triple-A Tucson. |
