Chris Haft, of MLB.com, reports San Francisco Giants SP Tim Lincecum has a 12-2 record following a team loss, which makes him the first pitcher to win that many games after a team loss since St. Louis Cardinals SP Chris Carpenter went 12-3 in 2005, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Lincecum (knee) made his start as scheduled on Sunday and was dominant en route to his 13th win of the season.

Lincecum left in the fifth inning of Tuesday's game against Houston after he was struck in the right knee by a line drive.
Advice: Lincecum allowed one hit and struck out seven before he was hit in the knee by Brad Ausmus' line drive in the fifth. The Giants' ace limped off the field and was taken for X-rays which Giants manager Bruce Bochy said were negative. He said Lincecum would be re-evaluated Wednesday. team's medical staff rushed to check on him. Lincecum limped off the field and was replaced by right-hander Keiichi Yabu.
