LHP John Danks had some good news even before he recorded his 10th victory of the season on Saturday, with the announcement the previous day that the Sox had finally reached an agreement with Danks younger brother, Jordan, giving him a $525,000 bonus. Jordan Danks, an outfielder who played for the University of Texas, was a seventh-round pick. "If it was up to him, he would have signed the next day," John Danks said of the signing. "My mom gets worked up the most about this stuff. She wants to make sure we don't come across as a greedy family because we are not. Me personally, I didn't think there was any chance he wasn't going to sign. |
