LHP Wandy Rodriguez tied his career high by issuing six walks Friday against Arizona. He hadn't that walked that many batters in a game since June 10, 2005, against Toronto.

Rodriguez struggled with his command in Friday night's loss to the Diamondbacks. He walked six batters and allowed four runs in 2.1 innings of work.
Recommendation: Only 39 of his 77 pitches were for strikes. Rodriguez entered the game with just 30 walks in 104 innings pitched. However even though his control is usually good, Rodriguez has given up 18 earned runs in his last 18.2 innings.

Chris Duncan, of The Associated Press, reports Houston Astros SP Wandy Rodriguez gave up four runs and walked a career-high six batters in 2 1/3 innings Friday, Aug. 15. He had previously won four of his last five decisions.
