Beltre will serve as the DH in Saturday's tilt against the Angels, ESPN.com reports.
Recommendation: He played DH on Friday night as well. Beltre said his hamstring is feeling better and he can play the field, but Rangers manager Ron Washington will err on the side of caution with wet field conditions. Look for Beltre to return to the field once the weather clears up in Arlington.

3B Adrian Beltre returned to the field for the first time in 10 days when he played third base in the first game of the doubleheader. Beltre was the designated hitter in the second game. He went 2-for-9 on the day and had no problems, though he did move slowly. With the forecast iffy in Texas on Friday, it's possible he could be the DH again for that game rather than expose his hamstring to a slippery surface.

Beltre hit a three-run, pinch-hit home run in the 11th inning to help Texas to a 5-2 win Saturday.
Advice: Beltre didn't start because of a sore left hamstring, though he contributed in a big way off the bench.
