Brandon Inge: Has Knees Repaired
Update: Inge underwent successful surgery on both his knees Tuesday, the Detroit News reports.
Recommendation: Inge will have to rest his knees for the next six weeks before being able to begin a strengthening and rehab program. With that timetable, the Tigers expect Inge to be at full strength when spring drills begin. Inge’s knees were a big part of his second-half decline, so he could put together an even better campaign next season if the rehab goes well.
