The only depressing thing about seeing these photos is that you see how far some of these franchises have fallen...Pittsburgh, Oakland, Cincinnati and Baltimore. Those names used to strike fear in the hearts of opposing fans. Now, it's just a stop in the schedule you might pick up some games.
Granted My Giants fall in that category more often than not.

I remember those like they happened yesterday. From the '70 Orioles to the '79 Pirates who faced the '79 Orioles and all the others in between including 2 repeats by the Reds & Yankees and a threepeat by the A's all in succession from 1972-1978 with the Pirates 2 titles in 1971 & 1979. It boiled down to 5 teams taking the trophy that decade. The Birds, Reds, Pirates, A's, & Ny. All had 2 titles or more except Baltimore and they were all action packed series with many future Hall of Famers giving outstanding performances.

The Pirates stole those series and generally have sucked for almost all of their 124 years of existance. Why are you wasting time showing this pictures featuring this cancer of an organization? Guess you Pirates fans (all three of you) should enjoy these pictures, cause it's the only time you made the postseason in your teams entire history. I also GUARANTEE not only will your team NEVER, NEVER,NEVER EVER make the postseason again, it will NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER break .500 again.
BASEBALL MOVE OR CONTRACT THE PIRATES !!!!
