Devil Ball Golf - Golf

Did you watch the Frys.com Open over the weekend? No? Then you missed some fine golf and maybe, just maybe, the dawning of a new superstar. Troy Matteson, Rickie Fowler and Jamie Lovemark took the tournament into extra innings, where ... well, here, I'll let Mr. Video Person explain:

Impressive work from Mr. Fowler, who's already being heralded as one of golf's next great saviors. (We'll get to that later today.) Congrats to Matteson, who earlier in the tournament set a PGA record for the lowest consecutive rounds with two 61s. Yes, you read that correctly -- Troy Matteson went where Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer and everyone else who's ever played golf has never tread before. Not bad, huh? See? You should be watching more golf. You never know when history will show up.

Great! here we go. Heralded as one of golf's next great saviours. It's too early in the morning to run my next puff of smoke list. Until we can go thru one day of golf blogs, thru one day of golf channel , thru one day of anything without having one Eldrick Woods reference or pic thrown in our faces let's hold off on the praises of the next biggest thing since sliced white bread. [profane]! I just realized I put white bread and E. Woods in the same sentence here comes the PC police. Two 61's that's amazing. Congrats! Looking forward to the 2010 Golf season since this one ended sometime last month. Thanks Jay for the blogs.
