You can forgive Henrik Stenson for being a little frustrated at the U.S. Open. After all, play as well as you want, there's no way you're catching Rory McIlroy. Perhaps a bit frustrated at the futility of the chase, Stenson got angry on 15 on Sunday:
You can understand Stenson's anger to some extent; after a solid first few holes on the day, he'd bogeyed 8, 10 and 11 and would go on to bogey 15 and 18. He finished tied for 23rd at 1-over. Those bogeys dropped him out of the top 10 and cost him a potential $100,000-plus in winnings.
Clubs have a short shelf life with Stenson; when he's not smashing them, he's slinging them into lakes. At least he kept his clothes on this time.
