Five to watch @ The Frys.com Open

Each week, Five To Watch breaks down the most significant players and storylines for the upcoming weekend's tournament. We're not saying these guys will win, or that you should pick them for your fantasy team; we're just saying you ought to keep an eye on them. You never know what might happen. Today, the fall series rolls on.

Ryan Moore: Everybody's favorite gypsy golfer is back, and he'll bring his hodgepodge of equipment and gear to the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale. He looks like he slept in his clothes, but he plays like he got a good night's sleep.

Mike Weir: The happy lil' Canadian (is there any other kind?) is long overdue for a runaway victory. He's had plenty of success in Scottsdale, so expect him to be in the hunt on Sunday.

Charley Hoffman: The mulleted one was quite the sensation earlier in the season before the Big Guns really returned to the links. Now, with most of the field cleared out, the way is wide open again.

Pat Perez: He won waaaay back in January, but has fallen off the map since then. His brother is making noise over on Golf Channel's Big Break, so it's time for Pat to step up as well.

Rickie Fowler: This kid's gonna be huge! HUGE, I tell ya! And it all starts right here! Or maybe next week ...

All right, you're up. Who are your picks for this weekend? Go!

Jay, I agree with you about Rickie Fowler. It's only one tournament but his stats from last week
show me that he can score well (T7) without hitting the ball well. He was something like 60th in
greens hit in regulation last week. That's impressive, its an ability that all great players have.
It's Tiger's greatest asset. Time will tell if he is for real or not.

Fowler is the real deal!!! He plays by instinct not the style of many other young guns (machines)
