The Presidents Cup isn't a major. It isn't the Ryder Cup. It isn't even the Tour Championship. But it's starting to draw some serious star power. In addition to the previously-noted Michael Jordan and Bill Clinton, we can now add Barry Bonds. In contrast to those who view Bonds as some sort of fire-spewing hellspawn who hurls HGH-filled syringes at little children, Barry was reportedly pleasant, friendly and appropriately humbled in the presence of Tiger Woods. And yes, for a moment, three of the most important athletes of the last two decades -- Bonds, Jordan and Woods -- were within a few yards of each other. That's kinda cool.
Bonds wasn't invited to play, but if he had been, I imagine it would have gone something like this:
Hey, who was that guy in the video? He looked like Bonds, only ... smaller.
