You know what women's golf needs? Right, rock-star intros for every player as they approach the first tee and the 18th green. ("Oh my God, that's ... that's Christina Kim's music!") Silly idea? Not if you're Anna Rawson, who offered up that and several other plans for saving women's golf in last night's ESPN: 360. Here, check it out:
Awesome! I love watching ADD-inducing shots of lady golfers! Anyway, Rawson -- not surprisingly -- tries to push hot n' sexy as the be-all, end-all of women's golf as part of her five-step plan to save the game:
1. Rock the tee -- the aforementioned baseball-batter-style intros. Yeah, that'll go over well.
2. Bring on the men -- Run men's and women's tournaments simultaneously on the same course. This is actually a pretty cool idea, and one that would help spur interest in the women's game without compromising the men's. No way in hell it'll ever happen, but it's a good idea nonetheless.
3. Fashion to the fairways -- Don't just play good (or "play well," to be grammatically correct), look good too. Nah, I like the burlap-sack man-shorts look. That really works.
4. Marketing is the boss -- True dat. Anybody who does anything in the LPGA without an eye for how it will play to the larger market isn't going to be long for a job.
5. Ready for our close-up -- A camera crew with every pairing? It's so crazy, it just might wo -- nah, probably not. But it's a nice idea anyway.
Crosscourt Birdies takes a comprehensive look at Ms. Rawson's proposals (hat tip: Waggle Room). Now it's your turn. Will any of these save women's golf, or are they just five more steps on the path toward stripper poles on every green?

What the LPGA needs right now is a new commissioner that has vision, one that can not only save existing tournaments, but bring new tournaments in the fold.Sponsors are very hard to come by at this time, and the new commissioner has to be able to deal with this, because it is probably the first thing on his or her plate.
We all really know what is wrong with this tour, although it is improving, and that is exposure to the public.
Most people know who Michelle Wie is,but there are other good American players out there also, and they should be given the equal light as far as the coverage goes.
...And it is not that sex sells in this case...What you want to watch is good golf shots being made.. :)

Look do not let strangers get inside your head. We all loved Micheal Jorden for years and we all understood he made more from endorsments then basketball. Do your best with both careerrs, have fun , live life, and good luck to you. (please ignore my spelling no spell check here), -- people are always envious of others, _ _ ............. do what makes you happy and gets you through this life. When it comes to any sports, bloke them out, concentrate, and in your case hit the ball......good luck. Dan Gamble
