Genoa will fancy their chances of taking maximum points at Livorno on Sunday. The Grifoni appear to have left their troubles behind them having claimed seven points of a possible nine in their last three encounters. Their positive run has seen them climb to sixth place. A win on Sunday would be a big morale boost for Gian Piero Gasperini's side in view of the long-awaited derby encounter against Sampdoria in the next round. "We have put new diesel in our engine," said Genoa midfielder Francesco Modesto. "We're very ready. The derby? For the time being I see it still far away. I would prefer that the attention is concentrated on the away match in Tuscany which will be very difficult. It would be very important to take back home the three points."
