 Team Report
Next match: at home to Manchester City, May 11

Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has insisted the club will be stronger for the trials and tribulations they have experienced this season. The 37-year-old offered a frank assessment of a difficult campaign after seeing the Teessiders secure their Premier League status with Saturday's 2-0 home victory over Portsmouth. Southgate said: "There are a lot of things I would have done differently, but I think that would go for every manager in the league and every club in the league. The only thing I can say about the group of people we have got here is we are honest in looking at ourselves, we work all the hours that are sent to put things right and we will all be stronger for the experience we have been through this season."
