Next Match: at home to Fulham, November 21 Birmingham midfielder Barry Ferguson would consider playing for Scotland again if the new manager picks him. He was banned indefinitely from national team duty along with then Rangers team-mate Allan McGregor after a late-night drinking incident. Following the sacking of manager George Burley the Scottish Football Association lifted the ban on the duo and Ferguson said: "There would be a lot for me to think about should the situation arise. I would have to speak to my family and those whom I have always trusted before any decisions could be made. That is, of course, if a call is made from the new manager. So I'll get on with things until I hear anything different." |
