Next Match: at home to Levante, May 18 Real Madrid's run of five straight wins came to an end with an entertaining tie at Real Zaragoza last weekend. Second-choice goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek made his league debut for the recently-crowned Spanish champion in that match after Iker Casillas was rested by coach Bernd Schuster. Raul was also rested, but is likely to start against Levante on Sunday, should the match go ahead. Levante's players have called a strike to protest against the club's board, who owe them money, and the game is therefore unlikely to take place. If it does, Jordi Codina will make his debut in goal. Schuster has no major injury worries for the game. |
