Racing Santander

Racing Santander's season has been largely miserable so far. The Cantabrians have picked up just one win from their nine games and suffered a fourth defeat of the season last weekend, as they went down 1-0 at Mallorca. Juan Carlos Mandia's side showed signs of improvement in that match, though, and will hope to turn that into results, starting at home to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, in what is set to be an intensely-disputed northern derby affair. Racing should be full-strength for that match. After nine matches, the club has just seven points and sits above the relegation zone on goal difference alone.
