Athletic Bilbao's 0-0 tie at home to Racing Santander last Sunday means the Basque outfit remains in contention for a place in the Intertoto Cup. Athletic is vying for a place in the competition with Deportivo La Coruna, but the Galician side has two points more than Joaquin Caparros' team with just one game remaining. Athletic also faces a tough trip to fifth-placed Sevilla on Sunday, but striker Aritz Aduriz says his side has not given up hope of securing a place in Europe. "To get the chance of playing in Europe next season would be very sweet. That's a big motivation for us," he said. Aitor Ocio and Joseba Etxeberria look set to return from injury, but Pablo Orbaiz, Gorka Iraizoz, Andoni Iraola, Ustaritz Aldekoaotalora and Luis Prieto all remain sidelined, while Asier Del Horno, Fran Yeste and Markel Susaeta miss out through suspension.
