Next Match: away to Real Betis, January 21 Athletic Bilbao are hopeful of having top-scorer Aritz Aduriz fit for their trip to Betis on Monday night after he had to come off during the 2-1 defeat to Rayo Vallecano last weekend with an a groin strain. The former Valencia striker has returned to light training over the past few days and is expected to make the trip to Seville along with Jon Aurtenetxe who has recovered from the ankle injury that has kept him out in recent weeks. Mikel San Jose is suspended though so there will be a recall to the midfield for one of Carlos Gurpegi or Ander Iturrapse. |
