Next Match: at home to Nurnberg, November 21 Europe: UEFA Champions League (Group B) Wolfsburg coach Armin Veh says his side is still regarded as an unknown prospect in Europe, which is why his Wolves appear to be finding Champions League games easier than Bundesliga matches where Veh says everybody knows too much about the defending German champions. "We have our Champions League future in our own hands and can reach the knockout phase off our own backs," he said in an interview with Eurosport.de. "That was not to be expected at the start of the season, but it is quite possible that we have not yet got a reputation in Europe yet. In the Bundesliga, that is no longer the case. Teams play very defensively against us whereas in Europe, players like Zvjezdan Misimovic benefit the most because they get more of possession." |
