Next Match: away to Eintracht Frankfurt, November 21 Monchengladbach captain Filip Daems is set to make his long-awaited return to the team this weekend. The 31-year-old successfully came through an exhibition match during the international break and is now ready to return to senior action. "I don't have any pain anymore and things are improving day by day," he said. However, he is being cautious having already made one comeback from the knee injury last month, lasting only 77 minutes of the 2-1 defeat to Wolfsburg. That is why he preferred to take part in last Saturday's game against second division side Oberhausen. "Games like these help me get closer to full fitness," he said. |
